Large constellations and space debris

The design of a large satellite (low eccentricity) constellation wrt the inclination often employes Walker schemes:

  • Walker-delta for inclined orbital planes (left)
  • Walker-star for (near-)polar orbits (right)

Walker schemes set up also the way spacecraft meet each other:

One of the largest "constellations" seems to be the space debris. See its movement at LEO (c. h<2000 km) in a 10min slot (TLE data from Space-Track):

In the chosen 10min slot to observe such space debris in a 500km range from Prague with an elevation angle >25°, one would need more than 2.5 hours!
